Who We Are

The Calm One concept first came into existence in 2017 when it’s creator, Lindy Romez, former U.S. Army Veteran attached to the 82nd Airborne Division first became aware of the high rate of suicide among military veterans through the 22 push-up viral internet challenge.  The purpose of this challenge was to raise awareness that every 22 minutes one of our American service men and women were committing suicide.

As a veteran who served as a musician attached to the 82nd Airborne Division, Lindy felt compelled to offer assistance to bring about necessary change in the lives of fellow veterans. While serving her country, one of her tasks as a musician was to boost morale of the soldiers through music and with her primary instrument being the trumpet, she has also honored over 200 fallen soldiers by playing taps at their funerals. Having personally experienced Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) from her time in the service and witnessing others who suffer PTS. Lindy began her journey of healing which ultimately led her to study in India where she learned the art and science of sound therapy, yoga and meditation. It was during this time, that she learned that our bodies and minds have the capability to heal, recover and harmonize. Lindy felt a profound desire to share the same practices that helps to harmonize her PTS.

Lindy created EkōSync Meditations with healing frequencies embedded in the music and are offered for free on the EkōSync Meditations YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UC35VNNgtmSY-qCHwfyd5c7A

Although the initial call to action was sparked to assist veterans suffering from PTS, that was only the catalyst. We are committed in assisting anyone suffering from any kind of dis-ease in the mind and body by offering ways and tools to keep the mind healthy through continued education.

We believe when one suffers, we all suffer. Lindy and her team are here to assist you.
